The latest Professional Pensions Conjecture debate looked at the key issues surrounding the governance of DC schemes.
The debate was chaired by Professional Pensions editorial director Lawrence Gosling and included Aegon managing director for corporate pensions Andy Marchant, Watson Wyatt senior DC consultant Adam Stevenson and Independent Trustee Services director Carol Perry.
Conjecture looked at how employers offering contract-based schemes can engage proactively in scheme governance; what this engagement involves and whether this would be a significant step towards improving governance.
It also discuss the latest guidance from The Pensions Regulator and how this can help encourage voluntary engagement.
