Publishing group Coughlan Companies has appointed Gissings Consultancy Services to advise the creation of a benefit plan for employees transferring into the firm.
Staff transferring into Coughlan Companies UK subsidiary Capstone Global Library from Pearson Education will be able to sign up to a group personal pension and a death benefit and disability plan.
Coughlan spokeswoman Lisa Hanson said: "As this was our first acquisition with benefits implications in the UK, we needed advisers that we could rely on and that could respond rapidly.
"We were introduced to Gissings and are delighted that they have been able to procure benefits for our employees and help us to establish new pension, death benefit and disability plans in a very short period of time."
Gissings director Andrew Dawson said: "We are delighted that Coughlan chose Gissings for this project. It is always stimulating to work on the establishment of new benefit plans as part of a business transaction and we are very pleased that we have been able to procure good quality benefits for Capstone’s new employees in the UK."
